The 3dm crack back then worked fine without giving me any problems. I decided to use Update 9 and the latest 3dm crack for the game. But no matter what I tried, admin mode, using different versions of 3dm cracks, different repacks, different versions, set the launcher and exe at Win 7 compatibility mode I can't launch the game, either origin will pop up or the game will start for a second and it will quit to the desktop without any error messages.

I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or if the latest 3dm cracks that update 9 requires are a bit hit or miss and have some compatibility problems on some pcs. I use Win 8.1 x64 with update 2, asus z97a, i5 4570, gtx 660. Yes, same thing happened to me. I finally managed to run it successfully and immediately I checked the in-game menu to see if the update 9 works properly, and it did because for example I have the option to change the size of the subtitles or to sheathe the weapon, which are features of later patches.

But after I quit and try to relaunch it again the same thing happens, game starts for a split second then quits without any errors. Antivirus, anti-malware, basically any other security program isn't the problem because I don't have one, and I have completely disabled windows defender. The only thing I have enabled is the windows firewall which I use to block the game's exe files. Very weird indeed. If I manage to find a solution I will post it here.

I recently bought DAI and I've been looking forward to playing it, except that the game won't run when I launch it! I've tried every solution I can find for this problem, but nothing works. I've updated my drivers, I've run DAI and Origin as administrator, I've done the repair option, I've installed the necessary programs that are inside the DAI folder and inside the '_Installer' folder, so that would be directx and everything inside the 'vc' folder. I honestly have no clue what to do now, I need some help. Here's a link to the specs of my laptop.

To add on the above: I also attempted to launch game outside Origin and gained an error. It appears Patch 8 caused issue with C++ coding between online and game launch, as there is a simultaneous runNing issue between Origin and game. Have download version. Unsure if affects hardcopy or not.

PC version of game completely unplayable at this time. Please fix, or provide PC patch rollback until error is correctable. Most of patch was only multilayer and for console. Perhaps issue was with console updates affecting PC version of game since they are listed as not PC compatible?

Bioware, Origin, please correct. Would like to continue playing. Have had game since launch. Unfair to PC users. If no other has reported this issue may be with Win8.1? If so please help. Greatly appreciate a correction.
