Error log says voltage fall off, possibly due the desk collapse. (It fell over before trying to slide to the floor). I manages to buys a 6mo old Toshiba Satellite C55-B laptop. It's Win10Pro x64 w/ 6GB RAM & 750GB HDD. Guess what I discovered. W10 does NOT natively have the ability to transfer files from one PC to another. You have to install a third party program like PC Movers.

I have limited network, so I'm migrating (by thumb drive) over 7 years worth of files! When it rains at my house, it pours.BTW. Today is the first sunny day in 16 days of rain.and it's Friday the 13th too!

Maybe I shouldn't be playing with computers today! And no.I still haven't replaced my cracked screen. Got the replacement glass.but still chicken! Purchased Tab 2 on Amazon few weeks ago. Finally had a chance yesterday to unbox. Booted it first time and setup with my Google account.

Then let it update. Enabled developer mode and enabled USB debugging. Tried the Kingroot app in Play store. However it didn't work. Went to (4.95 I believe). This version worked great.

Then followed using a terminal app. It error-ed out the first time so tried again.

Worked the second time. Updated binaries then rebooted. Next downloaded a free and using that app navigated to the AAL setting and turned it to 'off'. Then rebooted once again for good measure. Tablet works great and flawless. I did have to replace the lenovo charger that came in the box.

It would not charge the tablet past 75%. Found a spare 5v/2a and charged up to 100% in 20 minutes.

Also ordered the with magnet in lid and it also works great shutting off display when closed. Very pleased and tablet is wonderful!!! Thanks to all the users before me with this tablet that put together the great root instructions and various tips and resources for making this tablet even better.

Love the screen resolution. For $179, can't beat this tablet. Sent from my Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70F using Tapatalk. @ The fact that there are no global, regular security updates is a problem of Android in general, the availability of a few more custom firmwares wouldn't fix that. Xposed probably could allow USSD requests and voice calls (only on the A10-70L, of course), if someone made a module for it.

Security-critical apps definitely should complain about root and Xposed, because they can compromise the entire system. If these apps don't complain about cm-su, then that doesn't make cm-su superior, but means the apps are dumb and must be updated to detect it, too.
